It's done!
Well - almost - it's now fully playable again - and great fun it is too. Fresh rubbers (ooer) make for an interesting hike in the difficulty level as the balls (fnar) are somewhat more lively(!!). [schoolboy mode over...]
Got a couple of tweaks left to do - but for now I think I'll enjoy the fruits of my labour.

This is one of two Pinball machines I think I ever played... (Pac-Man being the other).
I loved the 'possessed ball' aspect you could trigger (big magnets?) that would cause the ball to randomly fly around. That and all the samples ("It's Cousin It!", ect)
Quite right, 3 big electromagnets under the front of the playfield... unfortunately they also get warm and eventually cause the pf to have tiny cracks which collect dirt... still - great fun!
